Oil prices fell by around 1% on Friday as US President Donald Trump’s remarks about avoiding strikes on Tehran before the midterm elections eased concerns over potential supply disruptions. However, ongoing tensions between Yemen’s Houthis and Saudi forces continued to keep markets cautious. WTI crude fell 1.01% to $90.57 per barrel, while Brent declined 1.05% to $103.18 per barrel.
